Step 1. View All Evaluations page
The Evaluations page will display a view of all evaluation cases that you have been assigned. The details presented shown in grid are intended to provide enough information for Evaluation members to decide whether there will be a conflict or not.
For additional details, please select the specific ‘Evaluation case ID’ hyperlink. This will initially open the Overview page where general details of the selected evaluation case will be displayed. There will also be an opportunity to declare any conflicts of interests.
To help sort and filter evaluations, use the search bar and type in organisation/access status/drug name etc.
Access status
Your access status will affect your access to evaluation cases:
Access status | Access marker | Access |
Review required | Declaring Conflicts of Interest is required to access the evaluation case. | |
No interests declared | Full access to the evaluation case. | |
Access pending | No access to the evaluation case whilst the Department reviews your Conflicts of Interest. | |
Access granted | Full access to the evaluation case. | |
Access denied | No access to the evaluation case. |
Step 2. Declare conflicts of interest
Ensure your personal details are correct and the Declaration of Interests register is up to date before continuing.
No Conflicts of Interest
There are two ways to mark an evaluation case with no conflicts of interest to declare:
- In bulk, by clicking on the ‘No COI to declare’ button at the top of the evaluations page. This will change all evaluation cases with the status ‘Review required’ to ‘No interests declared.’ Please ensure that you have reviewed each item and added any interests prior to using this function.
- Individually, by selecting the evaluation case and selecting ‘Continue’ without adding an interest. This action also marks that evaluation case as ‘No interests declared’ and the case will be marked as ‘Access granted
Adding interests
Select the specific ‘Evaluation case ID’ hyperlink to open the Overview page.
Select Add interest button, the Add interest pop-up will appear. Select a relevant interest. To add your interest, select ‘Save and close'. If you wish to cancel and discard your update, select the (X) in the top right corner and follow the prompts. You can repeat this process to add further conflicts of interests.
Upon completing the Overview page and selecting ‘Continue’, the access status is updated to ‘Access pending and the conflicts of interests are sent to the Department for consideration.
Remove a Conflict of Interest
Prior to selecting ‘Continue’ on the evaluation case Overview page, you can delete any conflicts of interests that you have added. You will not be able to remove a Conflict of Interest once it has been submitted. Please contact the Department if you need to amend any declarations that have been incorrectly submitted.
