myID is the Australian Government’s Digital ID app you can use to sign in to a range of participating government online services, like MyGov and the HPP. Find out how to set up myID at www.myid.gov.au/how-set-myid.

Once you have set up your Digital ID, you need to link it to an organisation using RAM. RAM is an authorisation service that allows you to act on behalf of an organisation online when linked with your Digital ID, such as myID.

How you link depends on whether you are a:

• Principal authority - Person responsible for the business or entity. You need to link to the entity in RAM first. With a Strong myID, you can link online in RAM. If you are unable to set up a Strong myID, you will need to link as a primary person
• Authorised user or administrator - Someone who acts on behalf of a business or entity. You will need to reach out to your organisation's principal authority to link your Digital ID in RAM. If you are not sure who the principal authority is, this is the person responsible for the business or a business associate, for example a sole trader, trustee, director, or public officer. This may be someone in your finance area.

Once you have created your Digital ID and linked it to an organisation using RAM you will be able to access the HPP. Your profile will be automatically created when you first sign in to the HPP. You may need to update your personal profile details such as preferred email.

If the evaluation organisation already exists in the HPP, you can request access to an organisation in the HPP. The existing evaluation organisation lead will send you an invitation for you to action. 
If the evaluation organisation does not yet exist in the HPP, you must email the HTASupportUnit@health.gov.au to register the organisation on your behalf. 
Once you are linked to the evaluation organisation in the HPP, your account has been successfully set up and the HPP is ready for you to complete your Declaration of Interest. ​​​​

This error means that you have no active link to a business in RAM. This can happen for a few reasons:

1. if you have tried to login to the HPP without linking to an organisation in RAM first.

2. if your previous RAM linkage has expired. 

3. if your myID details (such as name or email address) have changed. 

Sign into RAM to check if you have an active status against an organisation. If you have no active organisation links, your organisation's principal authority will need to send you a linking code. See 'Link your Digital ID to an organisation using RAM' for further details. 

Once you have an active link to your organisation in RAM, please attempt to sign in to the HPP once more. 

Where you encounter any difficulties with linking to an organisation in RAM, please contact the ATO's support line on 1300 287 539 —myID (Option 2) RAM (Option 3) and technical (Option 4) enquiries.

Where you encounter any difficulties with accessing the HPP after you have successfully linked to an organisation in RAM, please contact HPP Support. 

This error message informs us that the issue is with your myID.
 
This issue generally stems from the 'Identity Strength' of myID and can occur following a change of mobile device or the transfer of the myID app from one device to another. On encountering the error message below when attempting to log in to the HPP, the following steps must be completed to regain access:

1. Ensure that the myID app has been reinstalled and re-registered on new phone. During re-registration, please ensure that organisation member register as the same type of user as during initial registration. A Standard user registers for myID using 100 points of identification, whereas a Basic user registers without identification—this registration is valid for only 12 months. Following this step, kindly attempt to log in to HPP​​​​. If unsuccessful, please proceed to steps 2 and 3 to resolve the issue.
    
2. Organisation principal authority will need to make changes to user’s RAM profile to activate the Submit button, which needs to be selected to send an email with a RAM authorisation code in it. For more information visit the ATO's RAM website.
    
3. Once user receive the authorisation email, one will need to log into the RAM and enter the code from the email to accept the authorisation and reconnect their myID to their RAM profile. For more information, visit the ATO's RAM website.

4. Once this step has been completed, you should then be able to log in to the HPP as normal.
    

Where you encounter any difficulties with amending your myID strength, please contact the ATO's support line on 1300 287 539 —myID (Option 2) RAM (Option 3) and technical (Option 4) enquiries.

Where you encounter any difficulties with accessing the HPP after you have successfully amended your myID strength, please contact HPP Support. 

This error means that the HPP considers you a new profile, and is not recognising your previous profile's login. This can happen for a few reasons:

1. You have selected a different organisation at the RAM stage than you have previously when accessing the HPP. 

To resolve this issue, please log back in to the HPP and ensure you select the same organisation in RAM that you initially used to set up HPP access. If you represent multiple organisations in the HPP you will be able to select the organisation you wish to represent at the 'personalise you session' step. If you can no longer select that organisation in RAM, please contact HPP Support with a screenshot of this error. 

2. You have recently re-linked your myID to your organisation in RAM with a new linking code

To resolve this issue, please contact HPP Support with a screenshot of this error. The HPP Support team will work with your to re-map your HPP login to your existing profile. 

This errors means your HPP account has been deactivated. A HPP account will become deactivated if the user has not signed in for over 13 months. A warning email is sent after 12 months of inactivity, and another warning email sent 1 week prior to deactivation. A third email is sent upon deactivation. Please check your emails to confirm.

To reactivate your account, please find your deactivation and and forward on to HPP Support with a request to reactivate.
